Application Process

  1. Select your preferred Korean universities and programs. 
  2. Check TOEFL iBT score requirements for your chosen Korean institutions.
  3. Register for and take the TOEFL iBT test at a test center or at home. 
  4. Submit your scores along with your university applications.
  5. Apply for TOEFL-based scholarships where eligible.

TOEFL Scholarships in Korea

Taking TOEFL iBT can open doors to various scholarship opportunities:
 
  • TOEFL Scholarship for English Track Programs: Offered through the Study in Korea website, providing up to 1,000,000 KRW each for up to 10 recipients applying to English-taught programs for the March 2025 semester.
  • University-specific TOEFL Scholarships: Many Korean universities offer scholarships based on TOEFL scores. Check with your chosen institutions for details.
  • Global Korea Scholarship (GKS)  is available for undergraduate and graduate programs by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED).
